The Alpicool 40L Portable Car Refrigerator and Freezer is a genuine compressor-driven fridge built for 4WD touring, camping, road trips, and off-grid living. Powered by a German compressor, it cools from ambient down to -20°C and holds that temperature regardless of how hot it gets outside — no ice required, no soggy food, no warm drinks.

At 40 litres it holds 54 standard 330ml cans or 29 x 550ml bottles, and it runs on 12V/24V DC from your vehicle or 220V AC at home or camp. Bluetooth app control means you can monitor and adjust temperature from your phone without opening the lid.

German Compressor Cooling

The high-efficiency German compressor cools the cabinet rapidly and maintains precise temperatures across the full range of -20°C to 20°C. Use it as a deep freezer for meat, seafood, and ice cream, or dial it up to fridge temperature for drinks, fruit, dairy, and fresh produce. Power consumption: 60W.

Dual Power — Vehicle & Home

Comes with both a 12V/24V DC cigarette lighter cable for use in cars, SUVs, trucks, and campervans, and a 220V AC adapter for home, cabin, or powered campsite use. Switch between power sources without any tools or adapters.

3-Stage Battery Protection

The built-in 3-stage dynamic battery protection system (Low, Medium, High) monitors your vehicle’s battery voltage and automatically powers down the fridge before the battery drops too low to start the engine. Set the protection level to suit your battery type and trip length.

LED Touch Panel & Bluetooth App Control

The LED touch panel on the side of the unit displays the current temperature and lets you adjust settings directly. Connect via Bluetooth to the Alpicool smartphone app to monitor and control temperature remotely — useful when the fridge is in the back of the vehicle or in a storage area. Eco/Max power modes let you balance cooling performance against power draw.

Removable Divider

The single-compartment interior includes a removable divider that lets you organise the space into two sections — keep drinks on one side and food on the other, or remove it entirely for larger items.
